Student Code of Conduct

    When you enroll in the College, you assume an obligation to conduct yourself in a manner compatible with the College's function as an educational institution. You may be subject to disciplinary action for any of the following categories:

    A. Dishonesty, including but not limited to cheating, plagiarism, or knowingly furnishing false information to College staff. Forgery, alteration or misuse of College documents, records or identification.

    B. Obstruction or disruption of teaching, research, administration, disciplinary procedures, or other College activities. This includes, but is not limited to, the College's community service functions, or of other authorized activities of the College, its staff, or students.

    C. Physical abuse of any person on College-owned or controlled property, at College sponsored or supervised functions, or conduct which threatens or endangers the health or safety of any such person.

    D. Theft of or damage to College property or of a member of the College community or Campus visitor.

    E. Unauthorized entry to College facilities or unauthorized use of College supplies or equipment.

    F. Violation of College policies, Campus regulations concerning student organizations, the use of College facilities, or the time, place, and manner of public expression.

    G. Illegal use, possession, or distribution on Campus of narcotics or dangerous drugs, or presence on Campus under the influence of narcotics or dangerous drugs.

    H. Possession or use of alcoholic beverages on College property, or at any College sponsored event, except expressly permitted by law, or appearance on Campus or at any College event while under the influence of alcohol.

    I. Disorderly conduct or lewd, indecent, obscene conduct or expression at College owned or controlled property, or at a College sponsored or supervised function.

    J. Failure to comply with directions of College officials acting in the performance of their duties.

    K. Distribution or display of materials which are obscene according to current legal definition, are libelous or slanderous, incite students to commission of unlawful acts or violation of school regulations, or advocate or incite as to actions, determined on a reasonable personal basis, to create a hostile environment based on racial, ethnic, religious or sexual orientation, or gender differences.
