hashi or -bashi

The word (o)hashi, or -bashi, can mean either bridge or chopsticks, but the kanji for the two terms are different. Usually o-hashi refers to chopsticks and -bashi is used in the names of bridges. Bridges were very popular in art during the Edo period.
