1. Make a Preliminary Base
- Make 2 diagonal folds with colored side up (colored side has diagonal valley-folds)
- Turn paper over and fold square in half lengthwise in both directions (colored side has lengthwise mountain-folds)
- With white side in, grab corners of rectangle closest to fold and
push together then flatten into square
6. Bring top (colored) point towards you and fold crease at widest point (on both sides) then open back up
2. With open side to the bottom, fold each edge to center fold on all 4 sides
7. Fold white tips to intersecting folds
3. Lift up each fold (on both sides) and squash flat into kite-shaped flaps
8. Fold down again where colored and white paper meets
4. Fold left side over right side; turn over and repeat
9. Fold left flap to right then repeat steps 7 & 8 for all 4 points
5. Fold all 4 flap edges to center line
10. Pick up and gently open up, pushing out folds to form a square bottom
