A continuation of Math 0851 designed to increase student confidence in Mathematics. The topics are equivalent to those in the second half of Elementary Algebra, but the extended time frame allows for more in-class work and additional discussion of special applications and problems of historical interest. Topics include factoring, rational expressions, radicals, polynomials, quadratic equations, parabolas, and variation.
