Seminars Overview

Every student heads into college with the intention of achieving his or her goals. But success in courses, in extracurricular activities, in communication with instructors, and in all the other relationships you will develop during your time at College of the Siskiyous may not come as easily as you anticipate. To help you gain the skills necessary to achieve your goals, the Academic Success Center has developed a series of 50 minute seminars which will help you build skills and confidence in a variety of areas.

A Few Facts about Student Success Seminars:

  • All workshops take place on the Weed campus in various classrooms in the Learning Resource Center.
  • Workshops are first come, first served. Arrive early. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
  • All COS students, staff, and faculty are welcome.
  • All workshops are facilitated by discipline professionals.
  • No pre-registration is necessary unless you are interested in signing up for EDUC 96.
  • For questions about seminars, contact the ASC at 938-5830 or 938-5150.
