
Dr. Morrison joined the training staff in the 1996 season as the Team Physician. He is a general orthopedic surgeon with special interest in foot and ankle problems and sports medicine. Dr. Morrison holds medical licenses in Oregon and California, and is board certified in orthopedic surgery and has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons since 1983, and has served as Chief of Staff of Ashland Community Hospital.

Rob Williams has served the College of the Siskiyous athletes since 1996 as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant. He provides the highest level of Orthopedic consultation and evaluation for the COS student/athletes. Rob received his BS in Psychology from Oregon State University, then attended Yale Medical School where he became a Physician Assistant Certified, (PAC). Rob is one of the most valuable peices to our sports medicine network.

Joe Champagne is a local Physical Therapist and is also a Certified Athletic Trainer. He has been a valuable resource for the student athletes at the college working with them at games, and on the COS campus. He also teaches Human Anatomy here at COS as an adjunct instructor.
Cyndi
Schieber P.T., graduated from the University of California in San Francisco
in 1984 and has enjoyed working in the outpatient, orthopedic setting
for over 20 years. Previously Cyndi worked in a Sacramento private practice
for 7years, interacting with injured players from professional basketball
and tennis teams. She has been employed with Mercy Medical Center, Mt.
Shasta since 1990 and oversees an outpatient, orthopedic satellite clinic
in Weed, CA. College of the Siskiyous has had the pleasure of a close
relationship with Cyndi since 1990. She has been involved with both
the Adaptive Physical Education classes and is the Lead therapist in
the college pre-season sports physicals.
Paul
Schwartz is a physical therapist employed at Mercy Medical Center -
Mount Shasta (MMCMS). For the past 18 years he has been the lead therapist
at the hospital's outpatient physical therapy office in Mount Shasta
and has worked and collaborated with the COS athletic training department
and assisted in our pre-season sports physicals during this time. He
has been an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is currently the Orthopedic
Service Line coordinator at MMCMS. Paul received his Bachelor's degree
at the University of Pittsburgh in 1989 and earned his Masters degree
at the University of Kentucky in 1993.

Ron McDowell, MS, PT is the Director of Therapy Services at Mercy Mt. Shasta, where he sees patients in both the inpatient and outpatient clinics with a wide variety of musculoskeletal problems, and is one of the hospital's Spanish interpreters. In addition to his physical therapy degree from University of the Pacific, Ron has a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from U.C. Davis.

Cindi Titzer, P.T.A., graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at New Hampshire Vocational Technical College in Claremont, New Hampshire in 1990. She has been employed by Mercy Medical Center, Mount Shasta for the past 18 years. She has an extensive background in the neurologically impaired clientele as well as orthopedics. She shares her time between the Mt. Shasta and Weed satellite clinics and the hospital. Cindi also has a previous medical background as an EMT and is a certified massage therapist.
Dr.
Fritzke has practiced Chiropractic in Mt. Shasta since 1987. He reports
that after that much practice he's starting to get the hang of it. After
receiving his bachelor's degree in Social Work in 1980, he completed
his Chiropractic degree from Palmer-West in 1985. A former national
caliber long distance runner, he's recently begun cycling and competing
in road bike races. He's been involved in endurance sports throughout
his competitive career as well as through the running careers of his
children. He currently spends his time at his practice, helping the
student athletes at COS, training on his bike, and poking fun at the
oddities in the world of cycling on his website, www.cycling-review.com
Janet
Biondi is a local massage therapist and the owner of Biondi Health &
Sports Therapy in Mount Shasta. Janet currently specializes in Active
Release Techniques, (ART), a unique soft tissue technique developed
by a chiropractor and used and endorsed by the NFL, PGA, Olympics and
the Ironman. Although she has practiced massage for the past 25 years,
she now exclusively offers ART in her private practice in Mount Shasta,
as she feels the technique is a superior modality when it comes to resolving
injury issues. Janet received her Bachelor's degree in 1981 at College
of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine and her ART training in Tuscany,
