Les Courtemanche
Quarterbacks Coach

A former Eagle quarterback himself, Les Courtemanche continues with the Eagles with two seasons under his belt as the quarterbacks/receivers coach and has added coaching Track and Field as the assistant. Coach Courtemanche has also recently taken over as the Head Strength and Conditioning coach. Les currently holds passing records for COS.

Previous coaching experience includes two seasons at Humboldt State University, where he was responsible for wide receivers and running backs.

After leaving COS in 1999 with his AA, Courtemanche received a scholarship to Western New Mexico University, although he finished his senior year playing for Humboldt State University where he received his BS in Kinesiology. In 2005 Courtemanche played quarterback in Austria for the Graz Giants.

Speaking about the coming season, Courtemanche hopes to return to another bowl game. He believes strongly in the ability of football to develop leaders. "Football is much more than a game. It is a tool that drives a player to become successful in life".
