Head Coach -Kyle heath

Head Coach Kyle HeathCoach Kyle Heath is in his sixth year as the head coach at College of the Siskiyous. 2013-2014 season was a successful one for Coach Heath. The Eagles went to playoffs for the first time in his career at COS. He also spent two years as the assistant coach for Men's Basketball. Heath is from Ukiah, CA where he played basketball in high school. He is the All-Time Leading Scorer for large schools in the Redwood Empire, (1,924 points) and third All-Time in the Redwood Empire. After high school Coach Heath played two years at Mendocino College and made the playoffs both years. In his sophomore season, Heath made 1st Team All-Conference. After completing his two years at Mendocino, Coach Heath transferred to Cascade College in Portland, OR and finished up his playing days there. Heath reached the peak of his career in his Senior year when they won the conference title and made it to the Sweet 16 of the NAIA National Tournament. After graduation Heath took the position as an assistant coach at Cascade for the varsity team and the Head Coach of the JV team. In the past three seasons prior to coming to COS he was an assistant coach at the University of Laverne in Los Angeles. Coach Heath completed his B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies at Cascade College and his Masters in Education at the University of La Verne.  Kyle obtained his second Master's Degree in Health and Wellness from California University of Pennsylvania. Heath is married to Jenny Heath who is a chemistry instructor at College of the Siskiyous. They recently brought to the world a handsome baby boy named Charlie Heath.
