College of the Siskiyou's softball

The College of the Siskiyou's Softball program is one of the most successful teams in the nation. We have captured five straight Conference Championships, competed in the Final Four State Championship for five straight years and during that tenure have the number one winning percentage of all California Junior Colleges during the regular season!       

                                                                                  

In the past five years Siskiyou's softball has sent over thirty athletes on with full and partial scholarships   as well as accumulated a record of 200-27.

5/16/11

Yesterday the Lady Eagles defeated Feather River College to advance to the Final Four State Tournament in Bakersfield. In the first game, Feather River came out on fire and defeated us 12 – 2. The second game was a great contest with our ladies coming out on top 5 – 3. The other teams advancing to the State Tournament are San Joaquin Delta from the north and Cypress and Mt. San Antonio College from the south.

Congratulations to all or our student athletes and coaches and good luck in the State Softball Tournament.

Round 1 Tournament at COS on Saturday, May 7th at 2 PM and Sunday, May 8th at 12 PM.

    $8 - General Admission

    $5 - Students/Faculty/Staff/Seniors 60+ and children less that 12

    Passes not accepted per CCCAA policy

COS women's softball will play this Saturday, May 7th at 2 PM vs. West Valley College in Round 1 North Regionals and Sunday, May 8th with the second game beginning at noon.

The softball team traveled to the Monterey Tournament and came home with four wins. They beat West Valley College 17 – 1, Mission College 4 – 0, San Francisco City College 17 – 1, and finished with a 16 – 0 shutout over Hartnell College.

Great job this weekend.

Siskiyous finishes 4th at the State Championship

Lady Eagles finish the season GVC Champions! 2010 GVC Results 15-5, Overall 28-11.

COS Softball advances to the Final Four State Championship Tournament after a great victory over Sacramento City College at the regional round 2 playoff. With a great show of perseverance Siskiyous Softball won over Sac City 11-8 and 6-4 after losing to them the day before 0-8. The Lady Eagles will be at Bakersfield, CA this weekend.

The College of the Siskiyous Eagles Softball team have been the GVC Champions for the past four years 2007-2010 with records of 43-2, 47-3, 43-3 and 28-11 in regular season play.  And in all four years have made appearances at the State Championships.
