The Lady Eagles were led to victory by Crystal Palacio who, after facing 29 batters, allowed only eight hits and three runs in the seven inning game.

College of the Redwoods got off to a hot start in the first, with three hits and one run scored before The Lady Eagles got started.

In the Lady Eagles second encounter with COR they really put on a show to let the state know who they are. In the first game there was a record breaking number of home runs and high batting averages.
With a barrage of home runs, the College of the Siskiyous softball team passed one landmark and is rapidly nearing another.

Heading into Monday's doubleheader, it was technically possible that the College of the Siskiyous softball team could lose their final six games and not win the Golden Valley Conference title.

The double header against Butte College on April 20th marked the home stretch for the Lady Eagles Softball team. With only three games remaining after Butte, Coach Doug Eastman wants his players to focus on finishing out the regular season strong.
The California Community College softball all-state team for 2007 closely resembles the College of the Siskiyous lineup card.

The hardest hitting lineup to visit College of the Siskiyous this season still couldn't avoid being 8-runned.

The Siskiyous Lady Eagles flex their muscles for a record 7 homerun game! The Lady Eagles traveled to Eureka to descimate Redwoods in a double header. In the first game Crislyn Chewning, Kim Connelly, Ashley Geer, Stephanie Zwetschke and Alex Jordahl all had homeruns with Connelly and Geer knocking out two each. Connelly went 3 for 4 with 6 RBI's which gave Siskiyous their 13-5 win, along with Becca Anderson pitching the win. Cristal Palacio pitched the whole second game to bring in the win along with The Siskiyous slugers continuing with their spectacular hitting with Connelly with a homerun and four RBI's. Zwetschke and Sheena Fellows hit a double each with Zwetschke putting in two RBI's and Dirt went 2 for 5. The Lady Eagles 11 runs, Redwoods 6.
On the road against Gavilan College The Lady Eagles started out slow with Gavilan getting a run in the 1st inning and The Eagles not answering back until the 3rd. The Ladies didn't fully wake up until the seventh when they were able to put up 8 runs to end the game 13-1. Crystal Palacio pitched the win, pitching four innings with only two hits by Gavilan and striking out four of their batters. Becca Anderson came in to finish out the last three innings to get the save, giving only two hits as well. Kim Connelly and Jessica Shiery went 4 for 5, Connelly had 3 RBI's and Shiery had 4 RBI's with two doubles and a homerun Ashley Geer came in with a double and a homerun with two RBI's while Stephanie Zwetschke had a single and a double and Ashley Conser had a single and two RBI's.
The Lady Eagles continue on their streak of decimating all opponents! In their double header against Feather River College they went a total of 10 innings ending each game early being eight runs ahead in the 5th In the first game, Becca Anderson was able to keep FRC to only one run and The Lady Eagles were hitting hard to bring the game to a close at 9 to 1. In the second game, The Lady Eagles came out strong with a 5-0 lead which was cut down to 5-4 after a grand slam in the 2nd. But with great pitching by Crystal Palacio, who returned after an ankle injury, to pitch the 3rd and 4th and Anderson coming in to pitch the 5th The Lady Eagles were able to keep FRC to 6 runs On the batting side of the ball, Jessica Shiery smashed out a two run homer in the 2nd and a three run homer in the 4th. Kim Connelly hit 4 for 4 with two doubles and two RBI's to round out Shiery's bombs. The final score in the second game was 14-6. All in all a great double header for this spectacular group of ladies!
In a double header against College of the Redwoods, The Siskiyous Lady Eagles swept the Corsairs in the first game ending it in the 6th inning with the score at 10-2. The second game started out rough for the Eagles, but with good hitting like in the game before and good pitching by Becca Anderson the Eagles were able to come back from a large deficit to win it with a 3-run homer by Kim Connelly in the 6th and good defense in the top of the 7th to hold the three run lead. The final score in the second game was 10-7.
Siskiyous Softball are the Champions of the Ohlone Tournament; they are now ranked #1 in Nor-Cal and #1 in the State!
