                         Having been on the road the first 5 games, this year's team has already met All State legends Noelle DeBortoli      ('87), at the Sierra game and Bernadette Knight ('92) at the Mendocino game. full throttle, and once again every player was able to contribute to our 79-50 victory.

In December the Eagles will finally see their home court for games on the 15th and 28th. First, they will face a tough Contra Costa tournament line-up, and then four more road games.

The Solano game

Eagle's multiple presses
kept Solano off guard
the entire evening as our
gals cruised to a 73-54
victory.

"Well, it sure took long
enough" said Tom Powers, when asked to comment about reaching the 600th win mark.

With the momentum from these past two games, Diablo Valley CC didn't stand a chance. Our inside-outside game finally hit

November saw the Eagle Women's team soar off to a 4 and 1 start.

The opening game against Mendocino was our first look at our up-tempo style of play. After falling behind 24-12 our full-court pressure brought us back to a 43-27 half-time lead. All eleven players were able to hit the floor in the final 81-69 victory.

In our next match-up, 3rd ranked Sierra CC was a formidable opponent. The Wolverines were able to take advantage of offensive rebounds and a home court advantage to win 78-67.

As our team chemistry started to develop, Cosumnes River was looking like they might be in deep trouble: and they were. A final result of 78-56 showed that fullcourt speed was developing into the Eagles best weapon
