Tasha Robinson migrated south from her hometown of Hillsborough Oregon but never quite made it to warmer weather. Returning for her second year at COS, Tasha is an athlete who brings an intense energy to our program. In her first year playing for the Eagles, Tasha ended the season as a starting guard and was particularly effective in the second half of games off the drive. As you may have noticed in our last issue, Tasha was two makes away from breaking the school free-throw percentage record in 2005-06. Though not as often now that the rains have started, Tasha can be seen coasting around campus on her long board, making her the only member of the basketball team who skate boards. Tasha is a unique person and her energy, attitude and dedication make her a valuable part of the team. ![]() Natasha "Taz" Robinson #3 Amanda Harris leaves behind not only her #5 jersey, but her home country of New Zealand to step to the helm as point guard for the 2006-07 Eagles. Born and raised in Auckland, on the North Island of New Zealand, Amanda has been one of the country's promising athletes for years. Before coming to the U.S. she led Auckland to a championship against her former squad of North Harbour. Amanda has competed in her age division in tournaments in Australia and New Zealand, dishing her assists to teammates including some New Zealand national team members. If you ever need an opinion on your kicks, this is the girl to ask, as Amanda earned the money to come to the US by working in an athletic shoe store for the past couple of years. Amanda has enjoyed a warm from the COS community and claims she's not homesick at all! ![]() Amanda "The Mate" Harris #23 ![]() Eagle Profiles ![]() A. Gregg Ott B.
