Eagle Quiz
When Feather River played COS at Siskiyous what coach left his game clothes at home and had to take Coach Powers’ clothes right off his back after the women’s game?
Where Are They Now?
Ed “The Animal” Madec was hired at Fresno City College in June, ending speculation that he would be leaving the COS family. Coach Madec had a great 4 years at COS and led his 2005 team to the State quarter finals. Good luck in Fresno Ed, but we know you will be begging to come back!
Kristi “Spud” Arness #22
A Guard from Chico California, Kristi is a freshman student-athlete at Siskiyous. An excellent shooter and a fierce competitor, Kristi helped Chico High School win the section championship in 2006. Kristi’s work ethic and positive attitude have made her a coach’s dream. Kristi’s mother, Cheryl, played for Coach Powers on his first women’s team at Butte College in 1981. Kristi is thinking of majoring in education. We are lucky to have Kristi as one on this year’s team.
Stacy “The Law” Sheriff #55
A sophomore from Bellevue WA, she is the daughter of Randy and Diane Sheriff who still live in Bellevue. This year Stacy is one of the four posts in the COS rotation. Hampered by back injuries all last season and this pre-season we are hoping therapy will get her to 100%. Stacy was the team captain as a freshman. She is a true leader and a great person.
