What if my answers are
incorrect?
If you find that some of your answers don't match these, congratulations—you
are about to learn from your mistakes. Try to figure out why you
incorrectly identified the elements in the sentences. If you can
figure out what distracted your attention, you are halfway toward not making
that mistake again. If you cannot figure out what happened in your
head to lead you astray, ask your instructor or a tutor in the writing
center if there are some tricks you can use to help you with this skill.
