The purpose of holding "office hours" is to give students the opportunity to meet with the instructor one-to-one to discuss issues related to the course or related to the college.  You may just drop in during those times.  If my scheduled office hours do not fit your schedule, please call to arrange an alternate meeting time.  If you are off-campus, you can call to discuss issues over the phone; or you can try online office hours.  If you have access to the internet, try using Netscape/AOL Instant Messenger (IM); but be sure to add "sr22steve" to your buddy list (that's my screen name for IM).  I will run IM during my scheduled office hours so that I can be available to online drop-ins.  And if you still can't get a hold of me, sned me an email or leave a voice mail message, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
