Final course grades will be determined according to the following scale:
 

        Although a D is considered a passing grade, it will not satisfy graduation requirements for Area A in General Education, and it will not transfer to a four-year university.  Therefore, if you receive a “D” for the course, you will want to repeat English 1A.
