In the assignments so far, you have collected and organized details
that have described something. In this assignment, you will
collect and organize details that explain something—something about
yourself. After identifying one of your character traits ( a virtue
or a vice), you will use the discovery strategies of listing, probing,
and clustering to develop a number of examples of this trait. Next,
you will draft a paragraph containing a clear topic sentence supported
by three or four brief, specific examples. You will then revise the
paragraph to make sure that your examples are clearly and logically connected. |
