Course Description:
This course examines the complex, dynamic relationship between communities and the criminal justice system. The course addresses crime and conflict with an emphasis on the challenges and prospects of administering justice within a diverse multicultural population. Emphasis will be placed upon the professional image of the criminal justice system and the development of positive relationships between this system and the public.
