Students will be introduced to large format photography, perspective controls, chemicals and materials, and the zone system and its variations. Lectures stress aesthetic developments in the history of photography. Small, medium and large format cameras are available on a loan basis.

This course will intensely examine color negative material. Students will learn color controls for EP-2 and C-41 processes, additive and subtractive procedures, and will be required to make color separations.
