Margaret R.
(Kurko) White has been teaching Introduction to QuickBooks® since summer
1999. The Advanced QuickBooks Pro® class was added in the Fall of 2000. Margie has been a spreadsheet and accounting program
expert for 16 years, beginning with Lotus 1-2-3 in the days when PCs
had no hard drives and a mouse was not something you wanted to hold in
your hand and "click".
Margie has a BS in Finance from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio, and a MBA from UC-Irvine in Irvine, California.
She has five years experience working in the corporate world and several years working with small businesses and non-profit organizations. She is also the owner of a computer consulting and accounting business, operating in southern California and Siskiyou County for the past nine years.
Margie started teaching classes at the College of the Siskiyous in 1995.
In addition to teaching Advanced QuickBooks Pro®, she also teaches Beginning
Spreadsheets, Introduction to Microcomputers, Introduction to QuickBooks® , Microcomputer
Accounting, Business English, and Practical Accounting.
