Absorbtion Data for Spinach Extract
Laura and Megan carried out the procedure to gather data for an absorbtion spectrum of a crude spinach extract. The data was collected as % transmittance (relative to the solvent control). The first step is to convert this "% transmittance"  to "% absorbtion" by subtracting the transmittance from 100. Record this in the table. Plot this data on some graph paper. (you can find free graph paper online - use google and search for "free graph paper".)

x-axis (the independent variable) should be wavelength in nanometers.
y-axis (the dependent variable) should be % absorbtion.
