An overview of the science of biology with emphases on hypothesis testing and investigative techniques, the history of life, biological classification and the diversity of life, plant and animal anatomy and physiology, ecology, and animal behavior. For Biology majors. (AA, CSU, UC) (C-ID: BIOL 140) Prerequisite: BIO 2100.
