Microbiology

An introduction to the study of morphology, physiology, and ecology of microorganisms. It includes the structure and function of bacteria and their relationships with humans. Lab.

What we mean is:

Are you a health-related major or science major with an interest in what are commonly called "germs"? Most of this course is about bacteria and how they affect humans. In lab, we will be working with bacteria every week, so don't take this course unless you are a serious student.

Will it transfer???

This course is degree applicable, and will transfer to the University of California and the California State University systems.

There is no required prerequisite. This course is offered each semester.
