I have participated in advanced studies at several universities: University of Maine, Governor's State University, National-Louis University, Northern Illinois University, and University of Illinois. I am currently teaching a variety of courses here at COS including Microbiology, Zoology, Botany, and several others. HOBBIES: birdwatching, hiking, traveling, and reading. FAVORITE BOOK: The Serpent and the Rainbow by Wade Davis. LEAST FAVORITE FOOD: Pickled beets. FAVORITE FOOD: Everything except pickled beets. I REGRET: That I did not keep a list of all of the books I have read since childhood.
