1. Open your book to page 27 - Hour 2 Create a Web Page Right Now
2. Follow the instructions in "Try It Yourself" on page 27
1. Key in a minimum of two paragraphs
2. Do not enter any HTML tags at this time
3. Save your file in your "My Documents" folder
4. Have the instructor read your paper
5. Now follow the instructions on page 35
6. Save your file in your "My Documents" folder
7. Email the instructor a copy of your finished work before next class

   Helpful Thoughts & Ideas:

• This exercise could be the beginning of your web project
• Make sure to save your files with .htm or .html as the extension
• Organize your My Documents folders to keep track of all of your files
• Use your browser to view your web page
• Try out the W3C Markup Validatioin Service online Tool when your done
