1. Open your book to page 54 - Hour 3 Linking to Other Web Pages
2. Follow the instructions in "Try It Yourself" on page 54
1. Create 1 new page and save it as "links.htm"
2. Create links on your first web page and links.htm so you can move back and forth between the two documents using relative links.
3. Save your file in your "My Documents" folder
4. Have the instructor read your paper
5. Find a map of your home on Google Maps
6. Place a link to a Google Map of your home on "links.htm" using an absolute link
7. Add 2 more links to pages on the web to your web page "links.htm
8. Save your file in your "My Documents" folder
9. Email the instructor a copy of your finished work before next class

   Helpful Thoughts & Ideas:

• Using Copy and Paste for absolute links will help in getting the correct link
• This exercise could be a growing part of your web project
• Make sure to save your files with .htm or .html as the extension
• Organize your My Documents folders to keep track of all of your files
• Use your browser to view your web page
• Try out the W3C Markup Validation Service online Tool when your done
