Final ~ CSCI 28B Web Publishing II

  1. Post one last time to your blog.
    1. What 3 things did you get from this class?
      1. Be specific.  You don't have to write a book.  Just reflect on the semester and think of three things you will take away with you.
    2. What would you like to have in this class that we didn't cover?
    3. Please comment about the book?
      1. Ok? To boring? Just right?  Give a few details.
  2. Create a new web page
    1. Title the page "Your Name Final"
    2. Save as "final.htm" in a new folder you create called "final" in your COS site
    3. Create a navigation area that links to your:
      1. Blog
      2. Home Page
      3. CSCI 28B Home Page
      4. COS Home Page
    4. Use an external style sheet to style the page (you can use the one you already have completed)
    5. Create a tiled background from an image
    6. Insert a video from YouTube - write a short description of the video under the video.
    7. Create a form to allow someone to send you a comment and leave there name and email
    8. Insert at lease 1 picture
    9. Insert a comment just before the closing body tag and key in your first and last name, and the date
    10. Incorporate the following tags:
      1. <h1>
      2. <p>
      3. <br>
      4. <ul>
      5. <li>
      6. <img>
      7. <a>
      8. <object>
      9. ??
    11. Write a brief paragraph explaining how you will use the tools you learned this semester after you leave this class. Give examples to support your thoughts - i.e. "I will use online forms to do surveys of my customers to see what features they would like to see on my site"
    12. Check all links, images, and videos to make sure they all work. Upload to your COS site and check everything again.
    13. Email the instructor and include a link to the final.htm page you have just created.  For the subject key in "Final Project"
