For Thursday, April 25, read the introduction to Katherine Mansfield, and read her short story, "The Daughters of the Late Colonel," p. 2409.  If you are intrigued by her style and her characters, then you may want to read "The Garden Party," p. 2423, but I won't promise that we'll have time to talk about it in class.
