Geology of the National
Parks
Geology of the National Parks draws upon the spectacular landscapes
of America's national parks and monuments to introduce geologic processes, from
volcanism to glaciation, that are shaping the Earth today. The course also explores
the past several billion years of North America's geologic history based on the
rock record of America's parklands.
