COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING WORK:

1). READ: Pages 40-55 in your textbook.

2.) Go to the web site below and complete and submit the learning styles tests 1 and 2.

When you reach the last question of each test, you will be able to find out what your learning style is by selecting the proper box. This will take you to another box where it will tell you your style and allow you to look at the learning strategies for you.

Then look for the green box on the left side that says "About Learning Style Modalities". Below it you will find links that will give you specific information concerning your learning style. Read over the information that is appropriate for you.

3.) Now that you have completed that, I would like you to send me an email in which you answer the following questions:

1. What is your primary learning style? This doesn't have to be only one style. You can be strong auditorily with a noticable score visually.

2. What are the important characteristics of someone with this style?

3. What are you doing that fits into what you have now learned about your learning style?

(Here you are telling me that your style of notetaking matches your learning style and then you explain how they match.)

4. How might you alter your academic approach with this information?

(Here I would like you to discuss specific changes. Where you sit, notes, review, test taking, interaction with other classmates or faculty, use of services. I expect a great deal of information here.)

QUESTION number 4 is the critical one here. From your answer, I WILL BE ABLE TO DETERMINE IF YOU HAVE UNDERSTOOD WHAT WAS IMPORTANT FROM THE CHAPTER.
