1. The issue of nonsmokers rights versus smokers rights continues to be one of debate. In your opinion who does have the rights, the smoker or the nonsmoker? Further, who should decide where smoking should be permitted and not permitted? (5 points)

2. Define and compare the health consequences of mainstream smoke versus side stream smoke.(5 points)

3. Look at a variety of cigarette advertisements from magazines.  Summarize the techniques used to sell cigarettes and the commonalities that mark the majority of these advertisements. Be sure to make reference to the three reasons why people may choose to smoke covered in the text. (10 points)
