TERM
PAPER ASSIGNMENT AND REQUIREMENTS
1. One 3-4 page research paper is required. It must be typed and double spaced. The object of the paper is for you to become an expert on some specific aspect of a health topic. By example, diabetes could be the general topic but the specific focus of the paper might be new treatment strategies for this serious disease. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this assignment. This assignment should be emailed to me by the end of the fifth week. Mail to fontius@siskiyous.edu

A minimum of four current reputable references must be used.
Encyclopedias and dictionaries may not be counted as one of these
sources. Internet sources are acceptable.
3.
The paper shall have a Title page, follow standard footnote/endnote
or MLA and bibliography format (you can find these in the writing lab).
The paper will include a thesis statement, introduction, main body
and conclusion.
4.
Your instructor reserves the right to interview you about the content
of the paper to ensure originality.
5.
Your topic for the term paper, the thesis statement and at least
two references must be emailed to me and approved, prior to writing the
paper.
6. Please read the attached paper for acceptable topics and grading policy for the paper.
