Description: This course covers systems of linear
equations and inequalities, matrix algebra, linear programming, functions,
probability, Markov chains and finance.&nb=

Emphasis will be placed on applying mathematical methods to problems=

to work in small groups. Occasionally, a group quiz or project will be

will receive the same grade for these assignments. Group work is meant to h=

you learn communication skills, help each other, and simulate a professional
work environment. Three points are earned for each day you participate in g=

activities.
Homework: =
The
problems listed on the homework sheet should be done neatly and turned in by
the given due date. All probl=

should be attempted by the next class meeting after the topic was presented=
so
questions can be answered. To help you check your progress, the answers are=

the back of the book. You are
advised to do more than the assigned problems. Practice with problem solving is t=

to excel at math and retain the information. The quizzes and tests =
