Students enrolled in the ADN (LVN-RN Step-Up) program have the opportunity to participate in a cutting-edge learning environment.
NURS 70, Simulated Nursing Skills Lab, is a 0.5-2.0 unit open-entry course providing individual instruction designed to assist students under direct supervision to update previously learned skills, practice complex patient care assignments on simulators, and remediate math and dosage calculations for medication administration. This course also aids in the development of nursing technical skills, care planning, accessing electronic health information, remediation of clinical skills, and practice using computerized testing, study guides, tutorials, simulations and reviews for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam.

“The Nursing 70 skills lab literally saved me! The simulated skills throughout the year were so well designed that I was able to attend the skills lab and then step confidently into a real clinical setting. Tricia keeps all of the scenarios pertinent and is also able to individually cater to each student’s learning needs. I feel I will pass the NCLEX with confidence and a great deal of credit will go toward my skills lab experience. We will be better prepared as nurses due to the state-of-the-art equipment and expert top notch guidance from Tricia Bravo! Thanks, Tricia!”
