This course covers important philosophers of the Western tradition from 500 BCE to 1300 CE, including Plato, Aristotle, Stoics, St. Augustine, and St. Thomas Aquinas. Support Hour.

Etudes Portal - once you know your userid and password

Being successful in an online course requires a significant commitment from the student. To help you decide if online instruction is really for you, please take the assessments on "Online Readiness" at the site containing the "Online Survival Guide." Also, be sure to e-mail your online instructor on or before the first day of class, so they can send you further information.

To register online, go to myNAVIGATOR. You may also register for a course through the normal process at the Weed or the Yreka campus. If you do not have access to either of these sites, you may do the following:

Counseling

If you would like to have help in selecting the course best suited for you, or if you would like to have help in formulating an educational plan anytime during the semester, you can receive online counseling by e-mailing counselingservices@siskiyous.edu.

If you plan to earn a bachelor’s degree, an associate degree, an occupational certificate, or if you are enrolling in a course with a prerequisite, you must meet with an advisor or counselor prior to registering . Visit the Counseling Services page for more information.

Library Services for Online Students

Students can search the Library Online Catalog for holdings of books, magazines, newspapers, reserve textbooks and materials, college catalogs, audio/video materials, pamphlet files, etc. For access to other databases and further information, visit the library's website.
