Introduction to the study of psychopathology and atypical behavior. Focuses on psychological, biological, and sociocultural theoretical models of abnormal behavior as they relate to diagnosis, etiology, and treatment of mental disorders. Additional topics include prevention, intervention, ethical and legal considerations, and evaluation of neuroscientific and genetic research concerning psychological dysfunction.
