
| From one California Community College to another California Community College | If the student has played a sport at a California Community
College they need 12 units at the second Ca. Comm. College and they must
meet the second season of a sport requirement (go to "second season
of sport" below) to be eligible for a second season. If the student played a different sport at another California Community College then they need 12 units at the second Ca. Comm. College and a 2.0 gpa cumulative between seasons from both schools. |
| From any university or an out of state community college | If the student has played a sport at University or the out-of-state
Community College they need 24 units and a 2.0 gpa before they are eligible
for a second season of competition at the California Community College.
If they are playing a different sport they only need a 2.0 gpa If they did not play any sport then they are immediately eligible. |
| To a division one university from a Community College | If they are qualifiers they need to average 12 transferable
units per full time semester with a 2.0 gpa and attend community college
for one year to be eligible for competition at the university. OR Complete an AA degree and have 48 transferable units with a 2.0 gpa. |
| To a division two university | Complete 24 units and average 12 transferable units per full
time semester with a 2.0 gpa to be eligible for competition at the university.
(2 ft semesters = 24 units, 3 ft semesters = 36 units, etc.) OR Complete an AA degree and have 48 transferable units with a 2.0 gpa. |
| To a division three university | They are eligible to compete if they were eligible at the College of the Siskiyous. |
| First season of any sport (initial eligibility) |
Everyone is eligible regardless of gpa or number of units completed. |
| First season of one sport but previously played another sport | No unit requirement, but they must have a 2.0 gpa. |
| Second season of a sport | Must have 24 units completed and a 2.0 between seasons. The units and gpa must be from classes that are completed before the first day of the semester that they will play their second season. |
| January Intersession | Only counts toward Spring sport eligibility if it is posted on the transcripts as a fall class and the course is completed BEFORE the first day of the spring semester. |
If a student has not competed,
no requirements are needed except to be enrolled in 12 units during the season
of competition.
