FALL 2008" INSTANT ADMISSIONS" Humboldt State PROCEDURES

"Instant Admissions" is only available for Fall 2008 applicants. Applicants for Spring 2008, Graduate applicants, high school seniors and Returning Students should apply through the regular admissions process using CSU mentor on the web or send your application in through the mail.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements prior to the end of Spring 2008 to participate in Humboldt State University's "Instant Admissions" program:

• Complete at least 60 transferable semester units with a gpa of at least a 2.0
• Of the 60 units, complete at least 30 units of general education (PDF file)
• Of the 30 units, you must complete with grades of 'C ' or higher the GE courses:
• Written Communication (A2)
• Speech (A1)
• Critical Thinking (A3)
• Mathematical Reasoning (B4)

There are no 'walk ins' taken for "Instant Admissions". All appointments will be scheduled in advance at half hour intervals. If for any reason your application is incomplete (including all supporting documentation), an admission decision may not be possible.

Please bring the following items with you to your appointment:

1. A completed online copy of your CSU application at www.csumentor.com .
   
2. The $55.00 admission fee for your application (check, money order, visa/mc) or a completed fee waiver (PDF file). (You can pick up the fee waiver at the Transfer Center).
   

NOTE:

The COS Transfer Center will coordinate and schedule appointments for all "Instant Admissions" participants. You must obtain an OFFICIAL copy of your transcripts (including Fall Semester's work in progress) and OFFICIAL transcripts from all other institutions that you have attended. Do not open the envelope, or the transcript is no longer official.
