If you don’t need to talk to anyone, but just need a reminder of what is going on, then come by and look at the Info board in the office.  We will keep it  updated throughout the semester with important dates, events, and              reminders.

Text Box: Text Box: Welcome to the Fall 2008 semester!  I’d like to take this opportunity to say how thrilled I am to be a part of College of the Siskiyous, especially the EOPS and SSS programs.  As the part-time Yreka Counselor, I am looking forward to working with north county residents.  It is so rewarding to see the personal and academic growth that student's experience at COS. Text Box: accepted.  I was really happy because I was just getting ready to transfer to a four year university and they have promised to pay 90% of my schooling.  
I went back to the EOPS & SSS office to give them the good news, and they were all very happy for me.  In fact they even gave me a success card.  I was able to achieve all this from their programs by following instruction and making sure I did everything they asked me to do in order to succeed in my education.

Text Box: Ever since I got into these programs, the staff has always been there for me.  They have not only helped me with questions pertaining to the programs, but have also helped me with questions pertaining to my education, financial aid and so on.
EOPS & SSS staff were some of the people that encouraged me to apply for the Ford scholarship.  I went and got all the information I needed to apply for the scholarship.  I applied.  I was called for an interview, and I was also Text Box: Getting into the EOPS &  SSS programs was one of the good things that has happened to me.  The EOPS program has helped me with my books and getting the end of semester grant from the SSS program is the best part.
