You DO NOT have to be low income to receive financial aid.  There is some type of aid available for any 
applicant that needs help with college costs.  Not all types of aid are based on financial need but they all 
require filling out the FAFSA.  Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and apply today.

CONTINUING Students:
It is never too late to apply.  If you apply now and you’re eligible, we will pay you retroactively for the Fall 
semester plus you’ll be set up and ready to go for Spring!

ALL Students:
	8  Enroll for Spring 09 before the winter break.  First payments for the spring semester will be 
	      processed more than two weeks prior to the start of classes.  If you’re not enrolled you won’t get  
                 a check!
	8  You must REAPPLY for your financial aid before each academic year.  For best chance at all
	      the funding, fill out the 09-10 FAFSA on January 1, 2009 OR no later than March 2nd (the Cal 
	      Grant deadline).
Text Box: Ford Opportunity: This is for single parents, heads of households who are seeking a bachelor’s degree.
Ford Restart: This is for students age 25 or older who are seeking certificate, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree.
Ford Sons & Daughters: This is for dependents of employees of Roseburg Forest Products Co. and age 21 or younger.

Text Box: Take a look at these scholarships from the Ford Family Foundation.  This could pay up to 90% of your college expenses.  Most of the Ford Family Foundation Scholarships are need-based and require applicants to demonstrate financial need by filing the FAFSA.  All of these are for residents of Siskiyou County.
Ford Scholars: This is for the student who is planning on transferring from a community college to a four year university to earn a bachelor’s degree.
