Registration Now Open for COS Golf Tournament: The College of the Siskiyous Foundation and COS Athletic Department invites the community to play in the 18th annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, June 3 at the Lake Shastina Golf Resort.  The day of the tournament will begin with registration / check-in and a continental breakfast at 7 a.m. with the tournament beginning at 9 a.m.  The tournament format is four-member team scramble with a shotgun start (best ball).  Tournament winners will be determined by the lowest GROSS and lowest NET scores.  Call today and register your team of four to play in the fun-filled day.  

Summer Online 2012: We are offering more online courses this summer than ever before! To view a list of courses, visit our Online Courses page.  This may be your opportunity to take a GE transfer class you have been unable to fit into your schedule.  Don't forget to meet with an advisor if you are new to COS. Log on to Navigator and register today!

COS Announces New Partnership With National Outdoor Leadership School’s (NOLS) Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI): 
WMI’s California Emergency Medical Technician program will offer its first courses at College of the Siskiyous this summer.  See the NOLS blog or their website for more information.

COS Campuses Will Be Closed Fridays During Summer:
Beginning Friday, June 8, both the Weed and Yreka Campuses will be closed on Fridays all summer long until August 10.  Regular days and hours for each campus will resume on August 12.

EOPS / CARE Accepting Applications for Fall 2012:
The application for both programs is now available for the fall 2012 semester at College of the Siskiyous. Applications are available from the Weed Campus EOPS/CARE Office (located in Eddy Hall) or may be downloaded online. Students must be enrolled full time for the fall 2012 semester before they may apply. Early registration is
recommended as funding is limited. EOPS/CARE is able to assist students with funding for books, transportation, supplies, grants, child care, advising and counseling. 

Free Success Seminars at COS - Every student heads into college with the intention of achieving his or her goals. To help you gain the skills necessary to achieve your goals, the Academic Success Center has developed a series of 50 minute seminars which will help you build skills and confidence in a variety of areas. Check out our list of upcoming seminars.

Census Reports Now Available Online: Students can check their progress by logging into their Navigator account.  Select
your Student Tab and then Fall 2011 under your Student Grades channel to view academic progress.
