  • Solicit input from employees, students, and community for the position profile/announcement (online survey)

February 8, 2022

  • Special meeting - Governing Board considers approval of position profile/announcement
February 9 – March 25, 2022 (6 1/2 weeks)
  • Recruit applicants, solicit nominations, and advertise the position based on recruiting/advertising plan
April 4 - 10, 2022
  • Search Committee evaluates applicants
April 12, 2022, 3:00-5:00 pm
  • Search Committee meets to select applicants for initial interviews
April 13 - 15, 2022
  • Office of HR schedules applicants for interviews
April 21 - 22, 2022
  • Search Committee interviews applicants and recommends finalists for interviews with Governing Board
April 25 - 29, 2022
  • Office of HR schedules forums and final interviews for week of May 9 – 13, 2022
April 25 – May 6, 2022
  • Reference/background reports for finalists completed by CCSS

  • Governing Board interviews and forums for finalists (additional meetings or activities can be scheduled for finalists)
  • Governing Board selects superintendent/president and enters into negotiations for employment agreement

  • Campus visits for finalist(s) – if desired by Governing Board

  • Governing Board considers approval of employment agreement with superintendent/president
