Policy on the Use of Copyrighted Materials

It is the intent of College of the Siskiyous Library to adhere to the provisions of the U.S. copyright law (United States Code, Title 17), including the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, and to maintain the highest ethical standards in the use of all copyrighted materials. The willful infringement of a copyright and plagiarism of any sort is prohibited.

Copyrighted materials, whether print or non-print, may not be duplicated without first receiving written permission from the owner of such materials (copyright holder) and/or complying with guidelines presented in administrative regulations.
