Library Study Rooms
Use Guidelines
The primary purpose of the two Library Study Rooms, LRC-8 and LRC-9,
is to serve the group study needs of students. The rooms are available
to students or other library users on a walk-in basis. Priority is given
for group studies, or other school-related activities. An individual using
the room may be asked to leave if groups of two or more are waiting. Students
and other users may be limited to one hour if others are waiting. Students
must not leave personal belongings in the study rooms when they are not
present. Belongings left unattended for 15 minutes or longer will be taken
to the Lost and Found office. Library staff will not reserve the room
for students for a specific future date or time.
The Library Study Rooms may be reserved by faculty and staff of the College
for meetings and other school-related activities on a first-come, first-served
basis. They should be scheduled for meetings only when other meeting rooms
are not available. The rooms should not be scheduled for extended, ongoing
activities such as classes, tutoring, etc.
