Ginza ~ Kabuki-za

Several NCTA groups strolled around the Ginza on our first day in Tokyo or went there during other free times during our stay in Tokyo. We went to the kabuki-za on July 6th after spending the day at Kamakura. Steve and Melissa stayed for the whole show and understood it! The part the rest of us thought we understood was the horror of seeing the rat drag away the baby. As it turned out, the rat was an avatar of the mother that was born in the Year of the Rat, and was saving the baby. We couldn't take pictures inside the kabuki-za.
