O-mikuji are slips of paper with a variety of fortunes that are often tied onto trees for good luck, depending on the fortune received. There are several grades of good (kichi) and bad (kyou) luck possible. When you open the mikuji to the left (with a mousover), you will see it is lucky . This fortune is chuu kichi, or medium good luck.

The last four characters (in hiragana) on the outside of the fortune spell o-mikuji.
