Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is an international honor society for two-year college
students. To qualify for membership, students need to achieve and maintain a
minimum grade point average of 3.25 in at least 12 units of degree applicable
work. Phi Theta Kappa members receive official recognition of their status on
their academic transcript and in the graduation program, and have the opportunity
to compete for over $35 million in transfer scholarships. Through its honors
programs, club meetings, and service project, Phi Theta Kappa provides academically
motivated students with fellowship, leadership training, intellectual challenge,
and positive involvement with both the COS and extended campuses.
