It's
easy to get to Mossbrae Falls in Dunsmuir, California. From downtown,
drive north on Dunsmuir Avenue then turn left (west) at Shasta Retreat.
Drive a short distance on a narrow road, then veer to the right before
coming to the bridge. Cross the bridge and park on the other side of the
railroad tracks. |

Are
you afraid you might miss the falls? Well, just like you can hear
the train coming, you can hear the falls. Do not cross the bridge!
Not only is that the wrong way, but you surely would not want to be on
the tracks if the train came. The locals made sure we wouldn't miss the
falls, however, by painting a sign by the side of the tracks (Mossberry
Falls is a nice name, eh?). |

Walk through the forest a short way. When you get to the river, you will be awed! |

It is just starting to turn to fall in the middle of September. We call this beautiful time of year "Indian Summer." |

Mossbrae Falls is a great place to relax and enjoy each others' company. |

Dining at the Cornerstone Cafe in Dunsmuir is a great place to eat!
