Board Policies


The Board of Trustees maintains a policy manual containing policies adopted by the Board of Trustees for the operation of the Siskiyou Joint Community College District. Board policies and regulations undergo constant analysis and are subject to review, deletion, replacement and/or modification by the Board at its discretion.

The Board modifies the policy manual by presenting the new policy or the policy revision(s) at one regular meeting of the Board for study and discussion and taking action no earlier than the following regular meeting.

The Board anticipates that on occasion action may be required that is of sufficient urgency to make an exception to an established policy. Such action may be taken provided it receives an affirmative vote by 2/3 (5) of the Board members present when the action is under consideration.
