The College of the Siskiyous Reading Lab is a place where students can receive individualized assistance to meet a variety of reading needs.
It is professionally staffed with an Instructor, an Instructional Aid, tutors, and assistants to provide students with
individualized and personalized instruction.
Students may work on vocabulary development, word pronunciation and recognition, comprehension strategies, and reading rate.
At the Reading Lab, students have access to books and other reading materials, multimedia equipment, computers and specialized software, and individualized learning programs.
Students enrolling in Reading Lab courses need to also be enrolled in EDUC 0670 (0 units) to access computers in the Reading Lab.

Summer 2013: No hours
Students are expected to arrive on time, sign in, and use the available time and resources to complete assigned work. No credit will be given for talking, sleeping, or doing other class homework. No cell phones, IPODS or any other electronic devices are permitted in the Reading Lab. Plagiarism or cheating behavior of any kind will result in no credit and dismissal from the Lab.
